Reasons for the Vet Visit:
According to the Australian Labradoodle puppy contract, your new puppy will visit your vet for a well puppy examination within three days of the puppy arrival.  The puppy received a well puppy examination a few days before leaving my care.

Shot Record:

 Parvo virus
6 Weeks   42 days-

Parvo Virus plus
8 Weeks  56 days

10 week Parvo virus plus

Shots Need while in your care:

* 14 Weeks - What your veterinarian recommends.

Rabies:
Administered at 6 months.  Rabies has now been proven that the vaccine can cause cancer.  The Rabies shot is now administered in the right hip.  My recommendation is wait until by law you have to administer the rabies shot.  Once the shot is given you now can license the dog with the city you reside in.  When you license your dog with the city, bring your rabies certificate and your spay or neuter certificate. a huge cost savings.   Show the vet your shot record and he will place you on a vaccination program.

Worms/Parasites:
Your puppy fecal has
been taken to the vet to look for parasites and worms.  Puppy had a clean fecal prior from leaving my home.  However, puppies are susceptible in picking up worms and parasites.  If you see your puppy not gaining weight or has diarrhea.  Collect some fecal.  Place in bag and refrigerate and drop off at Vets office.  Worming medicine will be provided if needed.

Fleas:
Lots of product, lots of choices.   Discuss with your vet and decide the flea program that best suits your dogs need.  If you live where you experience cold winters.  A flea program may only be needed during the summer months.  Atlas-West Coast Australian Labradoodle warranty voided if use oral flea medication prior to being 2 years old.  If you live in an area with mosquitoes year around, we suggest Advantic topical flea treatment.  Advantic also protects from mosquitoes that can cause West Nile.  Apply every 28 days.

Mosquitoes:
Some infected mosquitoes are known to give dogs West Nile.  In a small percentage of dogs, paralysis can be the result of a mosquito bite.  Advantic flea topical treatment also protects dogs from mosquitoe bites.  Apply every 28 days.
Teeth:
I strongly suggest dry dog food no higher than 26 percent protein.  Dry dog food helps keeps teeth and gums healthy.  Ask your vet when you should introduce other products for your dog to chew on to help keep gums and teeth healthy.  Ask the vet what signs you should look for prior to a potential teeth cleaning.  I feed my dog dry dog food and give them cow hooves, bully sticks on special occasions, raw carrots, yams, broccoli and sweet potatoes to chew on.  All my dogs have healthy teeth and gums. My 7 year old dog plus have not needed their teeth cleaning.

Health Program:
Veterinarian Visitation within three days of the puppy arrival.  The puppy received a well puppy examination a few days before leaving my care.

Please show the vet your shot record and your vet will place you on a vaccination
program.
